For her part as Belle in Disney’s upcoming live-action feature Beauty and the Beast, the actress wore enhanced versions of the character’s trademark blue gown and swoon-worthy ball gown. On Thursday, September 15, Watson donned an Alexander McQueen transparent lace gown at the Kering Foundation’s first Caring for Women gala. Although the outfit appears to be romantic at first sight, it has a sartorial edge, as one would expect from the punk London-based design business.
