Mila Kunis made a rare sighting in Los Angeles on Tuesday after having not been seen in public since late October. The That 70s Show alum, 40, wore an adorable holiday-themed sweater in white, black, red and green. The sweater featured alternating bands with red cars bringing home the Christmas tree and Christmas trees lined up..

She paired the seasonal top with a pair of skinny charcoal grey jeans and a crossbody handbag. White athletic shoes, a loose ponytail and a black face mask completed The Luckiest Girl Alive's look. It has been a rough year for Kunis: The star was slammed in September when it was learned that she and her husband Ashton Kutcher defended their 70s Show costar Danny Masterson in character letters to a judge amid his rape trial.

And though the mom of daughter Wyatt Isabelle, nine, and son Dimitri Portwood, seven, was dressed in a holiday sweater, she probably wasn't shopping for gifts for her kids.In 2017, Mila her husband Ashton Kutcher, 45, instituted a no-gift policy while their children were young, as they couldn't keep up with the bounty of gifts from other family members.

'Our tradition is no presents for the kids. We're instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn't really matter,' Mila told Entertainment Tonight.'Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn't give her anything — it was the grandparents,' she continued. 'The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don't even know what they're expecting; they're just expecting stuff.'

The wasted gifts forced Mila and Ashton to draw the line with the grandparents.'We've told our parents: "We're begging you — if you have to give her something, pick one gift. Otherwise, we'd like to take a charitable donation, to the Children's Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want. That's our new tradition,' she explained. The excursion is a rare public outing for the Black Swan star. She and her husband have been keeping a low profile ever since they supported their That 70s Show co-star Masterson, 47.Masterson is a convicted rapist who is serving a sentence of 30 years to life for the rape of two women in the early 2000s.The couple wrote letters of support for Masterson before his sentencing and faced major backlash after the news of their support got out. They subsequently apologized for the letter in a video where they said they were sorry for the pain they may have caused. In the aftermath, Ashton stepped down from Thorn, the anti-child sex abuse organization he co-founded.In October, DailyMail.com reported that Danny was taking steps to ensure that his estranged wife Bijou Phillips and their daughter Fianna are 'protected' as he finally faces up to the 'reality' of spending the rest of his live in prison for raping two women, according to insiders.
