Mila Kunis heads to dinner in LA amid controversy after she and husband Ashton Kutcher heaped praise on convicted rapist Danny Masterson

 Mila Kunis was pictured headed out to dinner Tuesday at the Los Angeles eatery The Nice Guy, weeks after she and her husband Ashton Kutcher were slammed for penning letters of support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson.The 40-year-old actress - who stepped out with Kutcher, 45, in Los Angeles last week - wore a long-sleeved tan cashmere sweater with wide leg jeans and black boots on the weeknight outing.

The Chernivtsi, Ukraine-born beauty wore her long dark brown locks pulled back as she accessorized with earrings and a necklace, while carrying her phone.Kunis and Kutcher have come under fire in the past month for sharing letters of support for their That 70's Show costar and 'begging the judge for leniency' after the trial, in which Masterson was convicted of raping two women and sentenced to 30 years in prison.

The backlash has also seen their own relationship called into question, with many highlighting how the Ted actress, now 40, was only 14 years old when she was cast in That 70's Show, alongside the then-19-year-old actor.The couple, who got married in 2015 and have two daughters, are said to have a 'saving grace' in Fox cartoon sitcom Family Guy - Mila voices Meg - which will help them financially during the fallout.

'They legitimately feel like they are getting canceled,' a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. 'Ashton was looking forward to this past weekend being very low-key and devoted to watching football and dealing with his fantasy football teams. 'With all the people railing against them, it isn't going to go away anytime soon, and they are feeling it. They are hoping as time passes, people will forget and or move on from their criticism. 'But as of right now, they are anticipating that the damage of it all might affect obtaining future work in film and TV.
